It is with gladness and thanksgiving that the Diocese of Sacramento announces the ordination to the transitional diaconate of Dean Jeffrey Marshall, Manuel A. Rodriguez and Steven Joseph Waltz Wood.
The three seminarians will be ordained to the diaconate on Saturday, April 7 at St. Pius Church in Redwood City by Bishop Clarence R. Silva of Honolulu.
Marshall and Wood are currently enrolled at Mount Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, Ore., and is in Theology III. They will continue their studies at the seminary in Theology IV during the 2018-19 school year toward his priestly ordination.
Rodriguez is currently enrolled at St. Patrick's University and Seminary in Menlo Park in Theology III. He will continue his studies at the seminary in Theology IV during the 2018-19 school year toward his priestly ordination.
