With faith in the promise of the Resurrection, the Diocese of Sacramento mourns the passing of Deacon Charles Rasmussen, who entered eternal life on April 12, 2026, at the age of 93.
Deacon Charles was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Diocese of Sacramento on June 15, 1996, and faithfully served the Diocese of Sacramento for 4 years before relocating to Idaho.
Services for Deacon Charles were held in April in Meridian, Idaho.
The Diocese was only recently informed of Deacon Charles’ passing and regrets the delay in sharing this notice with the faithful.
Please join us in praying for the eternal repose of Deacon Charles’ soul and for the consolation of his family, friends and all those he served during his years of diaconal ministry.
