We come together in prayer for the eternal rest of Officer Tara O'Sullivan, a Sacramento Police Officer brutally gunned down while performing a work of mercy. She risked her own life while fulfilling her duty to save and protect. She was dedicated to her calling, a selfless public servant, a good neighbor to the weak and vulnerable. Her death deeply wounds us. Her heroism should strengthen our resolve to rid our homes and neighborhoods of violence. We implore the Divine Good Samaritan to embrace her into the Kingdom of Heaven. May the tender mercies of the Lord Jesus console her family, friends, and co-workers at the Sacramento Police Department.
