Join me in praying for the Nation’s elected officials and judges asking our Lord Jesus to grant them the wisdom, mercy, and fortitude to foster a consistent culture of life in American society. We must imagine a society without abortion, praying that the beauty of the gospel will guide the hearts and minds of the Supreme Court and the Congress.
The Supreme Court of the United States will hear oral arguments Wednesday on the appeals case of Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The case is the most significant pro-life case in decades. All those involved need our prayers.
The United States Senate will be taking up the Build Back Better Act in the coming days. Call the offices of Senators Feinstein (202-224-3841) and Padilla (202-224-3553) urging them to include the Hyde amendment in the legislation. The Hyde amendment prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion.
The Advent Season stirs up our desire for the coming of the Lord Jesus and His kingdom. May the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary help us put these hopes into practice by building a culture of life and dignity in our land.
