Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

“There is one body, and one spirit, just as you are called to one hope of your calling” (Ephesians 4:4) 

Every year, Christian communities and churches join together to pray for the visible unity of the Church, faithfully abiding by the will of Christ, who prayed, “There is one body, and one spirit, just as you are called to the one hope of your calling”. Ephesians (4:4), to realign our hearts toward mutual recognition and spiritual transformation. 

In our diocese, an Ecumenical Prayer Service, sponsored by the North State Ecumenical Conference, is scheduled for Tuesday January 19 from 11:30am to 2:45pm at the Pioneer Congregational Church located at 2700 “L” Street in Sacramento CA.  All are invited to attend.
