The diocese's Office of Catholic Charities and Social Concerns and Dignity Health are hosting an end-of-life care workshop. The workshop is open to all, but especially tailored for bereavement and health ministers, eucharistic ministers and ministers to the homebound, catechists and respect life ministers, Vincentian volunteers and/or caretakers.
Discussion topics include church teaching on end-of-life ethics, accessing quality palliative care, hospice care and advance health care directives, and pastoral care at the end of life.
