MEET OUR PRESENTER: Sergio Lopez is a former youth minister of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. A native of Southern California, Sergio has held lay ministry positions in several culturally diverse parishes in the Diocese of Orange and Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He holds a master’s degree in religious studies from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, and is pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. During his time as an intern for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, Sergio worked in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Office of Justice and Peace to lift up the work of grassroots communities organizing for justice. A native Spanish speaker, Sergio is a bilingual presenter, and specializes in the areas of youth ministry, Catholic social teaching, Hispanic outreach, liturgy, social media, faith formation, volunteer management and leadership development.
